Dubai Marina; the world's largest master planned waterfront

Dubai Marina
Dubai Marina

Dubai Marina is amongst the world's largest master planned waterfront development of its kind. The Marina lifestyle is built around an uninterrupted waterside promenade, parks and boat-berthing facilities . Contributing to the lifestyle are shopping outlets, restaurants, cafes, day care centres and fitness facilities. An intelligent community, Dubai Marina also affords high-speed internet access, closed-circuit television, and digital and satellite television.

The prospect of yachting and sailing offered by the Marina brings Dubai full circle back to its sea-faring roots. Dubai originally came to prominence as a trading hub, and traditional dhows still ply the coast as a constant reminder of the past.

This man-made marina is strategically located on the Arabian Gulf in close proximity of leading five-star hotels, beach clubs, international restaurants and prestigious landmarks such as the Dubai Internet City and the Dubai Media City . It is approximately 3.5 km long with 11 km marine frontage starting from Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) and returning just beyond the Sheraton Jumeirah. Spanning an area of 30 million square feet, the project comprises 10 districts, each of which will be developed as distinct communities .

Key features of the developments in Dubai Marina include high-speed internet, closed-circuit TV, digital and satellite television, resort and spa fitness centers, swimming pools, outdoor terraces, Hollywood-style movie cinema, game rooms, business center, lounge room and guest suites. All developments provide breathtaking views of the picturesque marina and promenades.
